Pretty Preachers Club - GRLfriend

After meeting through musical theatre shows in 2017, Martha McKay (vocals, guitar, violin) and Hannah Berry (vocals, guitar, piano) formed Pretty Preachers Club during lockdown in 2020. They released their debut EP at the end of 2020 and now they are back with a brand new single ‘GRLfriend’.

With influences such as Pale Waves, LANY, The 1975 and Sports Team, Pretty Preachers Club have developed a 80s bedroom-indie-pop aesthetic with a lot of their lyrics centring around their inner thoughts, past relationships and friends.

They have been described by Tenement TV as “one to watch” and Groupie Magazine says that “the future is bright for Pretty Preachers Club”.

With a headline show at Broadcast, Glasgow and a slot at Doune the Rabbit Hole festival coming up, the future is looking bright for this Glasgow duo!
