How Do I Show My Love? - Lizzie Reid

From her new EP ‘Mooching’ released in July, Glasgow based singer songwriter Lizzie Reid announces new single ‘How Do I Show My Love?’. Reid's previous single 'Bible' was released in March and has since been played on stations such as BBC Radio 1, 6Music and Radio 2.

The EP title was inspired by a phrase her Grandma used to say as another word for 'begging for affection'. Now, Lizzie uses the phrase to express the lesson she has taught herself - to not rely on other people for comfort, and to prioritise finding comfort within herself.

About the new track How Do I Show My Love?, Lizzie says “This is another break up song but over time it has taken on new meaning from its original intention, I find it hard at the best of times to communicate properly in a way that I would like but that can feel impossible when times are hard and people are forced to be apart.”

Reid has announced her own headline show at Glasgow's The Glad Cafe on 1st June, and she will also be performing at Edinburgh's brand new festival CONNECT this August.
